Introducing | Jung Lee

Jung Lee is a South Korean photographer who captures neon thoughts in remote landscapes to convey the limitations of language | Graduating with an MFA from the Royal College of Art in London, Lee not only studied the theory and practice of photography, but also the art of a foreign language – English | Ever since, she has been wrestling with phrases that haunt her thoughts, from an almost forensic perspective | She has garnered some impressive accolades of late with Artsy naming her photography exhibition at Dubai’s Green Art Gallery as one of the top 10 gallery shows of 2013 | Lee cites the likes of John Baldessari, Bruce Nauman and Sophie Calle as early influences |
