Kvadrat | Giant Stuffed Animals | Ionna Vautrin

Made with new interpretations of Kvadrat’s iconic Hallingdal 65 textile, young and talented designer, Ionna Vautrin, has created a happy and playful collection of oversized stuffed animals | The minimalistic panda, toucan and whale feature expression filled eyes and can be loved by kids and adults alike | The collection is part of an on going project put together by Kvadrat in which they are showcasing Hallingdale 65 as a material that can be used for more than just furniture | In a celebration of Hallingdal 65’s longevity they invited a new generation of designers to create entirely new works using the textile and explore new applications for the fabric | Patrizia Moroso and Giulio Ridolfo, under whose guidance our seven esteemed curators around the world have nominated their pick of emerging design talents | In the video below you can hear hear Kvadrats marketing director, Njusja de Gier and CEO, Anders Byriel thoughts behind the exhibition along with statements about the pieces from designers and curators | kvadrat.dk/hallingdal65
