The Listeners | These Train Tracks | Breathe Owl Breathe | Micah Middaughof

Micah Middaughof has spent the last three years creating a beautiful handmade children’s book that pairs music with youthful stories | The two-story book reads from either cover into the middle where you’ll then find a seven-inch record with musical renditions of both “The Listeners” and “These Train Tracks” by Breathe Owl Breathe | The Listeners is a story of an interesting friendship between a flightless ostrich and a blind mole who meet by chance and form a band | They call their band “The Listeners,” and perform for all their friends at an underground concert | These Train Tracks is a tale of transformation, in which a set of train tracks morph into a caterpillar, the night sky, a set of pajama buttons etc | The songs are playful without being too upbeat or too long, and boobosh found the book to be a great before bed activity | Available from breatheowlbreathe.bandcamp.com
