Seb Lester | Limited Edition Screenprints
As well as designing three new limited edition screenprints that are available from his website from today, type designer and illustrator Seb Lester has also made a short film (see below) to help promote one of the prints in particular, called Stars (print shown above) | Lester’s Stars print makes use of a quote by Vincent Van Gough | “The words had an immediate resonance with me,” explains Lester, “and I knew I had to do something with them | On close inspection you’ll see the lettering he developed is made up of hundreds of thousands of tiny stars | There are two different versions of Stars, both 594mm x 420mm (A2) and printed with metallic gold ink | One version is printed on Royal Blue Peregrina Classic 336 gsm stock in a limited edition run of 100 off | The other is printed on Midnight Blue Plike, 330 gsm paper, at the same size and also in an edition run of 100 off | Both versions are priced at £65 | The prints and other work are available from http://www.seblester.co.uk/
Lester also recently did some logo design for Emer Bicycles and their simply stunning looking Swift 24″ bmx (which boobosh is hoping to purchase) | Lester spent most of his formative years riding a BMX so was really pleased to get involved in the project | Visit http://emerbicycles.com/ for more details of the bike and you can also buy a cool tshirt featuring the lettering there too.
