Little Marc Jacobs | SS12 Preview
Here’s a little sneak peek at our favourite baby piece from the new Little Marc Jacobs SS12 collection | The remarkably tasteful pieces are simple but still have that Marc Jacobs edge that really makes this, and all his other lines for that matter, pretty special | boobosh is a big fan of the printed tee’s from previous collections and no doubt the SS12 collection will be no different | To view more images from the collection, head over to Junior Magazine, while the full collection will be available soon at marcjacobs.com
Neighborhood | One Third Collection | SS12
The always popular cult Japanese streetwear brand, Neighborhood, just released their Spring/Summer 2012 kidswear collection | Just like their menswear, the kids stuff is inspired by motorcycle culture, the military and outdoor technical apparel | Alongside cargo pants and a smart button down shirt, the One Third Collection also features hooded sweaters and a couple of well put-together vintage style t-shirts featuring characters and symbols from the iconic DC comic book series ‘The Flash’ | www.neighborhood.jp
Ron English | Fat Tony the Tiger
Earlier this year the king of guerrilla advertising – Mr Ron English – planted a selection of modified cereal boxes on the shelving of an LA grocery store in an effort to illuminate all passersby on the effects of the high sugar contents in cereal | He created modified mascots for the likes of Trix, Captain Crunch, Lucky Charms and many more (including Tony the Tiger shown above) were all fattened up and accompanied by messages that would certainly deter most shoppers | After much success with his Trix, Ron is planning on continuing to promote this campaign by releasing approximately 500 limited edition Fat Tony the Tiger figures, with more limited (100 pieces) followup editions in the near future | We aren’t exactly sure when this fat lil guy will be available but we are sure that he will be a great reminder to any kid that Frosted Flakes might not be the most ideal choice for breakfast | Further news about the Fat Tony the Tiger figure and his release date will be announced via popaganda.com soon(ish)…
Bobo Choses | SS12 Collection
The new SS12 collection by Bobo Choses is another winner | The line is inspired by camping and the great outdoors | Featuring many a playful piece that your kids will love | Prints include things like bananas, tents, bicycles and animals all on light summer t-shirts and terry cloth shorts | The collection kinda reminds boobosh of an American summer summer camp circa the late 1970′s | www.bobochoses.com

The Obliteration Room Exhibition | Yayoi Kusama | The Queensland Gallery of Modern Art
The Queensland Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane, Australia has opened an exhibition that your kids would love | The museum has invited children to take part in the playful works of one of the most significant and influential Japanese artists working today, Yayoi Kusama | Kusama’s art consists of making paintings, sculptures and photographs using dots to cover the entire surface – a process she calls ‘obliteration’ | The artist, who has in the past had success working with children, has decided to get the little ones involved in her exhibition at the GoMA | She has given the visiting children access to a large white room full of white household objects and asked them to ‘obliterate’ the room | Thousands of coloured dot stickers have since been handed out to children and stuck to the walls, piano, table, lamps, etc | The no-longer-white room has now become filled with coloured spots and they aren’t even half way through the exhibition | The Obliteration Room, is part of Kusama’s Look Now, See Forever exhibition that runs until March 2012 | qag.qld.gov.au
